The M22 was the only 4-speed trans that came with the 455HO engines in 1971/72. Whole lotta torque comin out of those motors.

Don - is that Bruce Petrillo's car?
I have his PHS invoice, and his is equipped EXACTLY as the car you're describing.
Just wondering if there are two '72 HO GTOs equipped the same.
VERY nice goat, BTW!
EDITING - I forgot to ask, what is the new lower asking price?

I bought the car a while back from Bruce and actually was with him also when he bought it 15 years ago!
I thought Id sell a couple of my other cars when I bought it from him but they did not sell so something has to go.
I have done alot of work to it and brought it back up to the way it should be. It was sitting in Bruces warehouse for years. Also added Honeycombs and the factory stripe to it. The air cond is ice cold now!! Asking 50k for it now

Neat car! Not meaning to hijack but my friend has a 72 GTO and he is kicking around the idea of selling it. He is the original owner and has all the original documents including the original window sticker. 70k actual miles. PM for details if interested.

Thanks for thinking of me but no hurt feelings here.
Anyone who is thinking of my car would not want a plain 72! Two different animals here and im sure the other car is way cheaper. 72's dont pull any good money unless they are round port cars. My car is the next RAM IV car.
How bout that price? How much is he asking?? Being you are in my ad. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gifJust kiddin.... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

When you emailed me that whoever wanted to buy the other car had better kiss your a$$ to get it, I thought the same went for this one too. That is why I didn't bother to try. Would have probably bought them both were it not for your attitude. Not much I care to say after your prior comments. But you asked why no comments after posting the pics and here are mine since you did ask for them.

Thats not exactly how the emails went. You were all gunhoe wanting the car and i told you i was sure it was sold and when i emailed you to tell you the guy backed out you wanted to know why and i told you but you wanted to know more so i said to you i would think someone should be kissing my ass to get this car instead of wondering why somebody backed out. I would have just jumped myself and came and got it. But you wanted more. I treat people the same as they treat me. Period! I dont care if you dont like my attitude. Your not dating me. And if you dont like my car because of me then so be it. If you remember I was the the one who told you to not bother trying to buy the chevelle. good luck to you on your future buys http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Ok Don, guilty as charged...http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif great looking car, all the right stuff in a killer color combo. I can't believe somebody hasn't bought it yet, these cars in this condition are about impossible to find.
Actually, I'm interested in the RA Formula you have, when/if I sell my car and you still have the car, I'll give you a call.
Good luck with the H.O. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
