I am in search of four originals, reproductions; as I know they were made at one time or just a very detailed photograph so I can have some made. My car has undergone a complete restoration and this is the only item left to finish my car. If you know the whereabouts of such please let me know. I know there are others looking so I will help out whoever I can at the same time!
Richard.

Good morning and thank you very much for the link as well as the photograph! Is it me or what appears to be wrong with these reproductions? James is indicating they are a very poor reproduction but they look very close to the one on the Yenko wheel shown in the photograph. Please offer your opinion as I do not want to purchase them for my car and have everyone say; nice car except for the "Y" decals!

It looks to me that the 3 little "flags" on the reproduction Y are wider than what is on the original shown.

Calling Mr. Spotts and Mr. Schoenthaler. You got your ears on?

Richard - when we get a hold of these fellows, they should be able to give you some insight to this issue. Hang on. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

These were reproduced accurately some time ago but I think most of those are gone. The correct inserts are not only printed, but also embossed slightly. There is talk of doing another run but to my knowledge it hasn't been done yet.
Marlin can elaborate. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

I have my original 'Y's for reference, and have been looking for a shop that will do these on the correct mylar, to exact detail. Unfortunately, I've not found a reputable shop - yet.

What about the guys who repro the engine emissions stickers who do them on mylar and foil... NJSteve had them do his T/A emissions label.

The points from the legs on the Y do not extend close enough to the edge of the circle, the thickness of the legs on the Y is not correct and the angles are also off...
That is just from a quick glance...

Thanks guys,
I knew that the members of this board would be able to steer me in the right direction. Marlin, please let me know if I can help. We have several reputable shops here in Canada as well but I would need an actual sample for them to reproduce the decals exactly. I suppose that is where the problem lies. Does anyone have a source for an original? Or possibly know the whereabouts of an original set which could be purchased? Thanks again to all who have helped!
Richard.
