Just returned from a spectacular vacation in Arizona! We arrived at Sky Harbor on 6/27 and returned to MD today 7/2. During that time, we accumulated 2364 miles on the rental Caravan.

The first part of our vacation was spent visiting different Phoenix suburbs for possible relocation in a couple of years. On Saturday, 6/28, my family and I spent a GREAT day at Bruce's place in Peoria! His family's hospitality was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Bruce spent about 3 hours taking us on the grand tour of Peoria. And he did such a great job, this area is on our list! So another Chevelle owner may be joining you folks in the future.

Later that day, my family and I found the 83rd Street Cruise. Not many cars were there yet, about 20-30. There were a few nice older cars, along with some newer Mustangs. No Chevelles. But it looks like a great place to cruise. And there's nothing better than drinking a Super Mocha Frappicino from Starbucks while hanging out at a cruise (IMO). http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No one wanted to get out of the air conditioned Caravan, so we headed back to Chandler.

I'm still downloading 200+ pics, mostly vacation type stuff. Got to drive about 30 miles on Rt 66 in Williams, Flag, Winslow, and Joseph City. Will post a few up when I'm done.

Thanks Bruce, Lynn, and Holly. We can't wait to come back, no matter what the temperature is. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/BruceRocks.gif

Thanks guys.

Claire looked out our window today during dinner and saw the clouds and rain and said;

"Betcha is not raining there today! They'll probably have a nice 4th."

She generally does not talk about other places other than home.

Now many of our friends and relatives are asking us when we'll be moving.

Don't know whether to take that as a hint or what. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

For many areas of the Valley that was true; however some towns (mostly in the west Valley) wound up cancelling their evening festivities due to a line of storms with strong winds moving through late in the day http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
