Stolen Red '57 BelAir - Westminster California

Don't know those involved but considering it was lifted just yesterday afternoon thought it may be worth spreading the word here..

Stolen 7/8/08 between 2:30 and 3:30 pm from Westminster Mall in Westminster California.
1957 Chevy Belair sport coupe.
California black plate number PLL 062.
VIN VC57L197166
Matador red with black interior.
Lowered in front with Super Bell disc brakes.
American Torque Thrust wheels with Kelly tires.
Has original power pack 283 with powerglide.
Rocker molding missing on left side.
New dual exhaust system installed the day it was stolen.
Original wheels and hubcaps in the trunk.
This car belongs to my wife's cousin. I took it to the muffler shop for him today and stopped at Sears on my way home. It was gone when I came out.
He got this car when he was a senior in high school 23 years ago.

can you post a picture? I have a few trucker buddies that travel up and down the coast hauling produce. maybe I can network with them to keep an eye out. A red 57 usually catches peoples attention...worth a try anyway

I have no pics and don't know those involved...just saw the sad news on another site and thought it best to help spread the word quickly if there's any chance these lads get their wheels back..
