It could be a forced sale because of the Las Vegas real estate market or there could be something fishy about the car, but I can't see why anyone would sell a Buick GNX for about half the going price,...unless they had to sell,..and soon.

Over at the turbo Buick site there are a few posts about this car. One says the car sold a few days ago on ebay for 40k and the owner may be flipping it for a small profit. Another said the sale didn't go through and there's a lien on the car from a bank forcing the quick sale. I don't know if any of this is true, or even if the car is real, but it's interesting to say the least.

That's not half the going price for a 54k mile car. It's about half the going price for 2k-3k mile car. Pricing is about right for what the car is. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

You're right,..I didn't factor in the mileage so the price is correct. To be corrrect, the owner should have said in 1987, it was GM's fastest production car. Remember the "I brake for Corvettes" bumper stickers that were popular with GN and GNX owners?

I paid almost 14k for this GN at the beginning of the year. T-Tops, about 80k mileage, not a spec of dirt or rust, under neath or on top,- runs great, I would expect if it was a GNX to pay a great deal more.

I have heard there are some issues with GNX#451. They would have lined up at the door and it would have sold in a NY Minit for the asking price if not. Original GNX Parts for these cars are bringing big bucks and they are creating very accurate clones these days so you need to do your homework just as you would when buying any other Musclecar.
BTW, You would look good in a GNX Darren. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
