OEM valve covers will not be SHOW CHROME.
If the spotwelds on the covers are smooth or polished, buffed without clearly being able to make out where the actual spot is located... that's a big clue.

This is from a 1970 Z28 4489 Holley. The 4489...

This is from a 1970 Z28 4489 Holley. The 4489 was specific to NA9 Calif emissions but I'm pretty sure the return spring connects the same as non Calif emissions carbs. Hope this helps.

I always go .002 looserr for the initial cold setting.

So, .026 and .032.

However, even if you went .024 and .030, you would not hurt a thing.

Camaro are different from Nova. 68 & 69 Nova are short, and 70-72 are taller.
