Re: Vintage Wheels

Hey Bill,
Would it be ok if we left this thread as an historical archive for vintage wheels rather than links to wheels for sale? That could be in the classified section. I'd (personally) love to see this thread become a reference for the Day-2 wheels we all grew up with. Period stuff only...
Just a suggestion.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Hi Verne. No problem from me. I put the ebay link in only because there were some nice examples of vintage wheels that might make a good reference for someone. I have absolutely no interest (good or bad) with the seller. I would be happy to edit out the ebay links to clean up the post. Bill D

American 200-S are the same wheels that I ran on my Black Motion when I was driving it on the street. Those are my favorite wheels. Don't see too many people running them but I love the look.

what size do you want I see them from time to time. Pairs are usually how they are sold. send me a message and what you are wanting to pay and I will try to find you some this next few weeks. A few Swapmeets are happening soon.

On a camaro 14" fr and 15" on the back look tough and one of my favorites.

Check this out. NOS 200-S wheels with the plastic still on the the rims. Came with the center caps and lugs. The one on the left has darkened spokes. Apparently from not being boxed. What's the best way to restore the spokes on these? The difference is more obvious in person.

Thanks 427TJ. I agree, those wheels are the best! I wish American Racing would reproduce the correct version of that wheel.

We just ordered a set for the Black 69 RS Z. with Goodyear Speedway Widetreads.
