Hey,guys. I just found this thread, again, and am wondering if there is enough interest yet in getting together another group buy. I could use one for my L78. No hurry, just would like an update, please. Thanks,Andy V

Why is the #143 being blueprinted and not the #3904362? I thought the #143 was the 1965-66 early grooved rear journal version and the #362 was the later, non-grooved version. The #143 is listed in Colvin's CBTN but I believe is in error?

Anyone have an explanation for Greg's question? I need 3 of the 3904362 cams with lifters...is there going to be another run of these?

Re: L78/L71/L72/LS6 143 "blueprint" camshaft

Everything I have references the 143 as the 68 & 69 L78/L71/L72 camshaft, and is identical to the camshaft in the 70 LS6 (362, 143, whatever). My old Crane paperwork, vintage NHRA stuff, etc, call the .520/.520 cams the 143...what # the early (1966) L72 camshaft was I have no idea. But what we reproduced was the correct .520/.520 camshaft that was used in the 1968-9 L78/L71/L72 and 1970 LS6.

Unfortunately, the camshafts are no longer available to us...but they are available through the *new* Crane, inc, via the Summit Racing website (although at a significantly higher price).

I have a cam and a set of the EDM lifters that I don't need now. If someone wants them, they can have them for exactly what I paid. I've had a couple of guys ask about selling, but when I gave them the cost, I didn't hear back from them. I'm not going to give the parts away. I think it's fair to ask for my money back.
