I've been following it too. Apparently, it was snipers on deck who took them out as the lifeboat was reeled in closer.

I am sure if the rescue would have gone "south" someone from the fleet would have been on record as having ordered the mission. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif IMO...It is what it is - and it went on about three days too long.

I was already having Iran America Held hostage flashbacks from the media coverage.

With that said, the SEALS and the US Navy ROCK when they get permission to do what they are trained to do.

I do not mean to sound like a war monger, just stating that we are training these men and women with weapons, not to be on a debate team!!!
