Hope to find the magazine today so I can see the article Jim said he will autograph copies for SYC members provided they include a postage paid return envelope Well it's time to go to work...you remember work don't you Sammy Luv..wilma |
Re: JRSully's Nova in Feb MCR
I am sure you drove Sullys car AFTER you made him put a block of wood under the gas pedal. Anything over 4 grand and you need to change your briefs I heard. Thats right Tommy. Get to work so you can continue to pay into mine AND Benny's SS. Thanks a million!

Here's some more pic's of Sully's car from 2008......."And" as I remember, we went out for a little drive (Sully, Wilmasboy, and my Gold "Beater") and we all reduced our rear tire sizes a little........LOL

Re: JRSully's Nova in Feb MCR
Score 1 for Long Island, Thx for the kind words folks. The locals might be able to spot the abandoned runways that we did the shoot at (hint: they built F14 Tomcats there) and after it was done, the car was repeatedly "exercised" on the 2 mile long flat concrete runway, a blast to say the least. Scott from MCR was very cool, took over 300 pics and did a nice write up on car. MCR is always looking for cars, if anybody is interested I will get you the contacts, they are very nice people to deal with. Go Jets.!

Re: JRSully's Nova in Feb MCR
OK....I went to 4 different stores in freezing weather this morning just to find a copy of this publication
Then I had to stand in line for 20 minutes to pay for it I figure that between wear and tear, fuel and travel time, the magazine cost me about 25 bucks!!...and there wasn't even a burnout pic On a positive note there was a plug for Jim's wife...Mrs. Sully she really deserves all the credit for this car...she endured all those years and months of the restoration process With the warmest regards...wilma |

Re: JRSully's Nova in Feb MCR
Mike...I used to subscribe to all these mags
There are piles of them in the garage and more in the storage shed One day I just cancelled them all...occasionally I buy a few in the store just to keep in tune with the hobby. Besides, I really don't need to buy car magazines...I've got all you guys for free entertainment wilma...8 below tonite |
