Beautiful.

If we are getting picky, shouldn't that car have black wheels for full wheel covers? To my knowledge, dog dish caps weren't available with the SS package on full size cars. I thought you had to have SS covers, or one of the optional (wire / simulated mag) full wheel covers?

Beautiful car. I was at a show this past weekend here in Renton (Seattle area) and there was a twin to this, black on black on black, '66 L72 Convertible. I'm a big fan of full size muscle. Love it!

NEAT car. Love it. Bill, I agree about the console. Great design. Haven't seen one of those in years.

Anyone knows how many they made in this configuration.

Can't be that many 'Verts with L72 and 4-Speed.

All that's known is that there was 1,856 factory L72's in 1966. There wasn't a breakdown by body type.
