It looks like Meissner's is still around as "Meissner's Auto and Tire" now, but I didn't find anything online regarding Canfield Performance. I have no idea when the car was lettered up, but likely in the early 70's. Hoping someone from the area knows something as the car's early ownership history isn't clear.

There is a Martin Chevrolet license plate frame on Ebay now - first one I have ever seen:
