I had an 83' Hurst Olds with the 307 HP engine -- developed a coolant leak at the right front corner of engine between the intake and head ... used the seal tabs and they cured the problem. TAZ |

Did you tap the threads out at all? Pipe thread is tapered.

I am thinking I will get some of the tablets and that will get through me through the summer. The car won't be driven much, but then next winter when I can take my time, I will carefully pull the head and have a machine shop weld and retap the hole. Thanks
