I think the parts on the crashed car came from a nice donor 66 L79 late Dec 65 build Chevy II. There is no mention of the block stamp assy date or trans date also. Notice is has the rare HD radiatior as well. I would find a nice original body SS car and swap over all the parts from the listed car. I believe there was a member here with a beautiful 66 SS low mile rust free Chevy II that would be perfect for this project.

Car has been restored since this picture...not a for sale sign that I know of, but price on these cars are 6 figures. I think there is a third one around that was located?? Once the Camaro came out these cars were forgot about. Why these 6 cars were built at the end of the run seems to be a mystery...if they were getting rid of inventory then why the cast intake and Q-jet carb?
