Just type in Eagle One surface prep mitt in the eBay search box.
I paid $10 total for one shipped to me,but their prices fluctuate throughout the year.

I've had some time as of late to work on this car. I had a growl in the transmission, so I knew I had that had to come out. So, pull the trans, send the flywheel out to be machined and have the clutch balanced along with it........and get cleaning the floor pans while the trans is out the exhaust is off.

I elected to replace the headers (tons of leaks) with the original exhaust manifolds and put a stock system on it from a 74.

Trans is out by Crash right now for some love!

Worst set of headers to get at the bolts.............cut them out!

The clutch and flywheel came back. In all of that, I found the source of a vibration. The original flywheel was out a fair amount! Balanced that along with the clutch to the flywheel, and begin to reassemble.

Along the same lines, it is remarkable how far out the original bellhousing was!. The initial measurements to check for being concentric had it off by .015! Got that straightened out........now it should go together like butter.

If you haven't bought the exhaust manifolds yet, I would highly recommend getting a set of the repro ram air manifolds. They are very close to what those headers were in terms of flow and they don't leak like headers. It's what we did with the Gramma car.

I studied your builds carefully. I'm just going to use the stock manifolds (which came with the car) for now. If I freshen the motor (compression and cam), the RA manifolds are definitely on the docket along with the Pypes system.
