Hey, I'm in that picture, and my Vette too!! I also see Dave Shutzbank, Dave and Dan's '67 directly beside it, and Member RCH's yellow '67 beside mine. Beautiful cars!!

What a great week that was! When three great 67 L36 cars got Four Stars!

PM sent Mark - I know the current owner and two previous owners of the gold shark. Outstanding car! That has very good owner history!

Zedder, I saw the Steel Cities Gray car on ebay, it too is a cool car. The Las Vegas Nationals was tremendous fun with all the Bow Tie '67's there. We had a good group of '67 owners there.

Thanks Dan...got it!

Hey Tim, just me and one other guy on eBay that appeared serious about the car. The Canadian dollar is super low against the US $ right now, so I have to buy smart or I’ll be upside down next year. $1.42 Canadian to buy $1.00 US this morning!

I was the other guy, I didn't know we were bidding against each other. My apologies.
I started to think about where I was going to put the car if I got it and backed off. It's in Washington State and that is quite a trek from Austin, TX. I didn't need to see the car since I looked at it closely in Las Vegas. Move forward, I'm not going there as the barn is full and it's not a good time to unload a car.

Small world! Actually, there was a third guy...who was the high bidder. He was a friend of the owner who bid to just below the reserve to “help him out with the auction”. He was a 0 feedback bidder who registered on eBay the same day, so it was easy to figure out. I asked the owner about it and he told me the story...he had no idea that his friend was going to do that. I already new the reserve, so it didn’t affect my bidding. If our dollar was better, I would seriously consider the car again.
