Fox News had a great interview with one of two surviving Arizona veterans. He told his story of being on the Arizona. At 99 he is looking forward to next years 80th anniversary. He canceled his trip this year on November 1st due to a two week quarantine requirement.

Technically true because the remaining veterans have already chosen their final resting places in advance and did not ask to be interred at the Arizona Memorial when they pass.

Sadly the main stream media is going along with what children are not being taught in our schools today regarding this country and it's history. It thoroughly disgusts me that this history is being swepted under the rug, for lack of a better term, when so many brave Americans fought and died for this great country and to protect our freedoms.

This is just another step in the direction of erasing some of our country's history by current educational systems. I honestly never thought I'd see the day when extolling America's virtues and exceptional history (not degrading or discrediting other countries, of course) is looked down upon and viewed negatively. I'm not buying it or participating. I teach my kids about it and fly a flag in my yard, but I guess I'm a dinosaur when it comes to patriotism, because I don't care if people think negatively of me for being proud of the United States.
