in that youtube he said the winning name was Hurst Matic ?
I never heard that name. Hurst had a lot of names like Pro Matic and V-Matic The contest was for the shifter that was named AUTO/STICK Later there was a Auto/Stick II and Auto/Stick 3 |

You can see on the roof of the car, under the young boy, the words "Hurst A Matic", so that would indicate that they at least intended for that to be the name of their automatic trans shifter. Personally, I have never (previous to this thread) heard of that shifter called anything other than "Auto/Stick" :dunno:
