We just did the BAT photo shoot this morning on my 99 SS. In the past it was always a process to get BAT to agree to the reserve I asked for--this time they went right with me. Crazy times. |
I was shocked what that brought. I think the interior was all new and it had body panels replaced. Crazy. Makes me think I should sell my Z and get something to drive!

Having done 2 frame-off restorations of 69 F-Bodies in the past few years I can attest to what it costs to restore a car nowadays, and it can easily be well into 6 figures for a good one. This one to me still seems a bit in excess, but as they always say at an auction, it only takes two people to set a new record.
