I'm dyslexic, but I don't think I would miss a typo of 50k on the price... |
Well heres the latest correspondence from the scammer to me.......
"We can talk here and I'll answer as soon as possible. The thing is that a buyer from San Francisco was very interested and I agreed to close the deal with cash on the delivery transaction. The day the vehicle arrived there, he told me that his loan was not approved and the deal is off. The car is now with the shipping company in San Francisco, CA. The good thing is that they also provide escrow protection for long-distance transactions. Basically, you get to inspect the vehicle before the deal is closed and I'm protected from buyers who don't actually have the funds to make a purchase. Please let me know for more information. Best," Can you believe this? |
Absolutely, he thinks he has you nibbling on the hook and is trying hard to set it. As Lynn said, get your local police involved and they can track this scumbag down...

I guess he wanted you to send the money and he would ship you the car. Ha!

This guy is most likely a foreigner. They have stepped up their game and just copy other similar ads written by legitimate sellers.
Its just a scam to get you to even put money down to hold the car that isnt there. Any way to get money. |
