Id stick with the redlines, or a new set of them. White letter tires do not look good on these cars. Id use the Spyders, cant say Ive seen a 65 with them before. They look so much better than SS1s.

I haven't seen a '65 with them either. Redlines will more than likely be the choice. I'm glad they're a 7 inch rim instead of a 6.

Very cool, those were haunting me on marketplace too, glad you ended up with them.

Thanks. Why they didn't sell quickly especially at that price is beyond me. No brainer.

I have a leftover set of original 1970-era, Motor Wheel Spyder lug nuts if you need a set. They are 1/2-20 right hand thread. These are the actual ones that Motor Wheel sold. They have a unique shoulder angle used for the Spyders.

They are not to be confused with the later aftermarket version with the pointed tips that most people use today.

These came with the set I bought for my 70 Cuda (which used a different size and left and right-handed threads).

If you need them, just send me a message. I'll let them go cheap.

My wife would be overjoyed to see them go so I no longer answer her with the same response every time she asks me: "What's in the orange sack on the dining room table?"

My response is always "Deez Nuts".

She is never amused by that. :-)

There were a bunch of stockers w those wheels but typically they were on 70 and up if I remember correctly.
Idk that they’d look right on something earlier. But give it a try maybe they’ll
lol awesome
