Re: Congrats Charley!
Thw GM work order calls for 375 4 speed cars and the Protecto plate shows it had a 375 4 speed. You can barely see the outline of the plate that bolted onto the subframe that holds the Zbar for the clutch linkage. The trim tag shows it as a 4 speed.

Re: Congrats Charley!
Charley,
I picked up a magazine called Camaro Performers (Fall 2002, from the editors of Super Chevy and Popular Hot Rodding). On Page 50, there is a two page beauty shot of your Indy track car, followed by three pages of Kevin Lee's pictures and a nice article - much better coverage than the CHP piece (plus no green interior). Oh, by the way, it's also featured on the cover.. It sure is a beautiful car! -Sam |

I'm sure if you pay for his travel, feed him and put him up for the evening he will personally come out and autograph it for you.
Damnit Charley, I knew there was someting I was going to have you do when I introduced myself at VetteFest. Guess I need to go to the reunion now for sure. |
Re: Congrats Charlie!
Congrats from me too, Charley. Like Mr70, I'm a Chevelle freak but when I saw the cover and the article, I had to have the magazine. ('Course, the fact we had a chance to meet at VF had a little to do with the decision.) Beautiful car with a great history. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
