the car in the link looks like a honest car and the surrounding where the pictures were taken look clean,

I think that it is a very nice car and if a person was looking for a nice '67 to play with and have a solid investment I would have it inspected by now and bought if I was looking, as far as e-bay there are plenty of cars to sift through but some nice ones come through and you usually can tell them apart.

That gold car is pretty nice, but with 80,000+ miles, I think he'll be hard pressed to get $30K for a small block. I have a friend with a '67 SS396/325 car,4 speed, Tahoe, parchment deluxe, tach/guages, tilt, am/fm and rear speaker. Every piece of paper since new, 24,000 miles, every number matches etc. The car sat in a barn for years until a previous owner pulled it out and did a frame off on it. All original metal with no rust ever! $32K is his asking price. It is stored for the winter and I will buy in the iSpring when he gets it out if I haven't spent all of my "car fund" before then. If I don't have the space or money at that time, I'll have to pass - so let me know if anyone is seriously interested. Please, serious only as this is a good friend of mine and I don't want to waste his time (or mine for that matter) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif.

Mark,
your friends car sounds nice, but the point I was making is finding a nice '67 RS/SS 350 car intact, and unmolested is getting as diffacult as any other rare muscle car, especially with all the correct dated parts still on it from new, comparing a big block non RS car to this car is not the same.

Re: 67 Camaro RS SS

Bud, are you saying a big block SS is not as "rare" or desirable as an small block RS/SS? Like I said, it's a nice car, but he'll never get $30K for it today - that was the point I was making. I think he might get $25K tops.

Re: 67 Camaro RS SS

I never said that a BB car was not desirable,

I said comparing the two is not the same and that is the truth, what he gets for it who knows?? I have my feelings on what it may sell for and will just watch and see what happens.

Re: 67 Camaro RS SS

You're right a few thousand Big blocks versus 29,000 small blocks...hardly the same. So, how much do you think it will go for? My guess is it will only bid to $18,400 and will not meet the reserve https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Good guess! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/crazy.gif I can't imagine too many small block RS/SS cars going much higher unless it has a lot of documentation.

Re: 67 Camaro RS SS

I don't want to start a dog fight guys, when you are out looking at other cars for sale online, at dealers etc...

take notice of how few nice RS/SS 350 cars you run across, you will not see many, yes you will see the attempt at a fake car like everything else we look at and yes they made a ton of them but most of them are gone, a true number matching nice car is worth a few bucks. I dont think the guy is out of line asking and takeing 25 for the car maybe a little more if he has interesting paper with the car, show me some comparables at less money, I have not seen one lately.

Bud.
