Re: '69 Yenko in Canada for $9K
Got a reply from the guy. You guessed it, he's in Portugal settling his dad's estate. His dad even bought the car new and it is still there. It's funny, Classic Dreamcars in Florida just sold the same car using the same pictures in front of their shop. They seem to be having quite a time with people pirating their ads to scam people. There were no bids so people aren't too gullible. I guess I'll have to let the guy know what I know about his little scheme. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

He will send you and address for you to send his payment. I'd like to have that. Got my first resonse from eBay after MASSIVE research and emailing back and forth with my scammer. I sent them addresses, IPs, and even a scam website for a fake eBay! Guess what? They aren't going to do JACK SQUAT about it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif They told me to notify my local law enforcement authorities and they would "back me up". So Keith, go for an email or two with the guy so I can compile a list of aliases and add his name/address. Once you get these, just tell him you ran the address and he came back as being on an FBI Watch List as a scammer. He won't bother you again. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif I would really appreciate this and thanks for your help! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif Mac |

I'll do things like bid an outrageously high amount on the car to end the auction, and then ask the seller to take a pick of the car with a current newspaper etc... These guys are a**holes! I gave one guy my phone number and he kept calling from a foreign country... I kept stringing him along and kept calling him collect to run up his phone bill. Here's another guy I jerked around, he had a 68 Camaro L-78 for $6000... I asked for more info about the car. The following is taken from our email correspondence: Him: Hello there, First I will need a proof of yours seriousity and that he is available to pay anytime so you need is to be agree with my condition stated below and the car will be yours. The buy it now price ( 6000$US ) includes shipping and insurance fees. 1.SHIPMENT: I am currently located in Rome,Italy and the car will be shipped from here by sea with the cargo ship in a container to your nearest port so for that I ask you to locate your nearest port with sea access and let me know which one is it, the usualy transit time for such a transportation is 4-5 days, a deposit of 2000$ must be sent prior to shipping. 2. PAYMENT: I'm a serious seller with experience in this field. You will arrange payment through wired transfer (www.westernunion.com). All you have to do is go to www.westernunion.com and find an local agent near you were you have to go and send the funds or you can send the deposit online with your credit card at www.westernunion.com 3.INSURANCE The car will be insured at the delivery service and insured for the transport. 4.RETURN POLICY As soon as the car arrives, you will test the car and if it does not matches 100% to your expectations, you will return it in max. 7 days since the arrival date. In this case I will send you the full amount back and you will send me the car in the original container and you don't have to pay the return shipping and insurance. 5.In the 7 days inspection perioud you decide to buy the car send the remainig balance and our deal will be completed. If this will be ok with you just email back with your info and tell me what info you need more about the car and the transaction and you will have it. Sincerely hope to do the transaction. Me: I am definitely interested in the car. I am a very rich man now and I love to buy cars. If this car is as good as the pictures, I am willing to pay $25000 for it. Is this enough or do you want more for it? Also, do you have any other cars you can sell me? I have over one million dollars that is just for buying old cars. I am new to this and just recently became a multi-millionaire due to the death of my wealthy uncle who was a dotcom millionaire. He loved old cars and left me his entire fortune of $42 million, BUT before I get the entire amount, I have to spend $1.2 million on old cars because he wants them preserved in a museum, as per his dying wishes. I need to spend this money RIGHT AWAY! Is it okay if I just send you $500000 and you can send me a bunch of cars? Like I said, I am new to this and I trust that you will send me a few good cars if I send you the money right away. Is that okay? What do you need me to do next? I look forward to being your new business partner! Sincerely, Hugh G. Rection Him: I am very intersted in ur offert too,and i would like to have a deal with u which will please us both! For that i also have to know what kinds of cars would u like to buy from me cause for so much money i feel i owe u some good ones,i mean we have to make this deal in oder to get the cars u want and me getting the money for them so we can be fair one to another! So u can send me an amount of 5000$ for the begining and i will shipp the car with Luftchansa air cargo and the car will get to you in max 7-8 days. All you have to do is go with cash to a Western Union office and complete a "To Send Money" form. As receiver's address you must use my name and address: Name: Gunther Lotze Address: Via del Velodromo 46. Rome Italy 00133 Very important! When you'll make the transfer, do NOT tell to Western Union that you are makeing a payment for a purchase, because they will charge us both. When you will change the receiver name into mine so I can cash the money I will not receive the same amount you are sending, and I already support the shipping and insurance costs. Better tell them that you are sending the money for a relative of yours. This way, I think you will even pay lower fees. I hope you will agree this procedure and if so, contact me back with your exact shipping address, complete name and phone number (needed by Luftchansa air cargo). Me: CENSORED!!! Not fit to print on this fine forum... plus I sent a nasty pic to him as well May seem immature to some, but I get a kick out of it! Manish |
