WOW! Thats some serious numbers Charley, bet you have hurt a lot peoples feelings with that. The 67 RS/Z mentioned in the ZL-1's ad just came back from paint on Thursday, talked to Stan Younts at DSE's open house friday night, he said this car has tons documentation and retains lots of its original parts, like exhaust, tires, and some other stuff, can't remember what else. Charley the combo in the pro-touring car I am going to build is the new LS-7 with a F1 pro-charger, it will make good power, but nothing like the Mule! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Since I am not a buyer, I won't bother Jim, but does anyone know if this car has its original engine, or trans, or rear end? I couldn't find that info in the description.

Is it just me or is there something about that guy's style that makes me extremely suspicious? Plus he mentioned Yenko.net by name. Poor form. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif

[/ QUOTE ]You are correct on that. But he should not be talking in Negatives. Rule Number one in Sales is always work on Positives. and good products. He only has one half of the Pie.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

He spends way too much time on slimey wording.

Like... "I think you get my drift here.", "If you are a serious party, I could show anyone what i'm talking about", "Real cars have real parts on them", "original head bolts and timing cover bolts", etc, etc...

Way back when I found Yenko N579434 in a junkyard. I bought the dash and BE for $75 [those were the days..]. I eventually sold the axle to Lewis Swan when he owned #40. So the axle is technically correct, just not original to the car.

Nowhere in the ad does he claim the drivetrain is OE.

And you wonder why Jim mentions this website on the auction the way he did!

Jeez.
