Yeah, it is sort of weird seeing that 69 Camaro parked next to the 70 Chevelle. I would imagine most of general public would not even notice or care for that matter...BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

The Chevelle is also sporting Polyglas Tires. Did '70 Chevelles come with them?

Yes,that was one of the possibilities Keith.

I've always liked this ad Nathan posted because it shows the 70 SS Chevelle,(hard to see it on this particular picture),with the sides painted red body color on it's Cowl Induction hood flapper.
Even though the final product didn't come that way from the mass produced Assembly line.

Obviously, this was a pre-strike photo.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't want to take this out of context, are we all in agreement production problems delayed the 1970 release and not a strike?

I think at the time GM had to go to press with it's model year advertising and grabbed the first '69 they found for the shot. As stated, who would care back in '69...

Other than a few of us here, who would care in 2006 for the matter? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif
