Re: on eBay...a factory 283 '67 Camaro!
Guys !
I have an associated question for this topic. When I was younger ( much ), I helped my brother re-do a 67 convertible Camaro that had a 283 in it and a Saginaw 4-speed. I remember the car well. It was red with a black top. We did the body work, painted it Hugger orange and later sold it in the southeastern PA area. If memory serves me correctly ( always an issue these days https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif ), I believe it had 283 emblems on the fenders. Am I to assume that this was a rare car? Steve |
Re: on eBay...a factory 283 '67 Camaro!
Not really sure how rare they are but from what I have learned and talking with others, the 283 was not available for any 1967 Camaro built for the U.S. and I believe Canada.
It would be cool to own one of these cars just for the conversation value. What what the shipping would be to get it here? Not cheap. Rick H |

I'd rather have the rare SS327 Camaro https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif
