Washed the truck today outside in Nova Scotia. Normally I would not be able to see the top of the 6 foot high dog kennel with the snow in the yard. It is unreal.Poor trees are actually trying to open buds. Bikes are still out

We broke the previous record of 62 degrees from back in 1993 by 10 degrees! It was 72 in Central NJ today.

Here in Southern Ontario we've been running about 15-20 degrees above normal lately. No snow for Xmas with only a flurry since. The last few days it has been up to 50 degrees once and 40s the rest of the time. Normally we would be 25-30 degrees in the day time and colder at night. More like Washington weather. I haven't even been able to build my igloo yet but keep sending that warm air north. We car guys love it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

Re: Spring has Arrived..

Here in Minnesota our lakes are still open. Very few can support even a walk on ice fisherman. This will kill the local economy due to the lack of snowmobile, snow thrower, and shovel sales as well as snow plowing and tourist dollars from all the winter activities such as outdoor hockey tournaments and the Winter Carnival. I love the weather but if it does not change soon we will really feel it later as some of our rivers and streams have all but dried up. Not good. Sounds like it won't be too many more days before change is in the air.

Rick, same deal here in the northeast: no skiing, no snowmobiles, no ice fishing, lakes are all open and the local business owners are really getting hammered. Anybody want to buy a couple of Ski-doo's....???? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif
