I've used em all. Including Zanio and I keep going back to Ardex gold supreme.. Honest. They best that I have ever used in the 40 years that I have been waxing cars.. Haven't found anything better than Zaino...I'm going to try it and see how it is. |
Re: Carwash Products...
Adam's all the way-I like it so much I give a full detail kit away with every car I sell. I too have tried them all and I also used to own a high end detail shop. Nothing is as easy or safe for your paint as Adams.
Remember, Meguiars may have the market cornered but they also engineer their products to a (low) price point for market share. Think Wal Mart, Autozone, etc- it's all about PROFIT MARGINS with the commonly available detailing products. Another little tip-if you insist on using Meguiars, ONLY buy the stuff in the tan bottles. That is their "professional" line, all the "NXT" and similar stuff in bright shiny bottles is for K Mart and the like. If in doubt, go to an auto body paint store rather than your local mega center. That, or, www.adamspolishes.com - they will ship to your door. Not cheap, but neither are our cars. Call and talk to Adam or Heather and tell them I sent you, they'll give you 10% off. Make sure to get his detail spray, butter wax, and brilliance...and some of their awesome microfiber polishing and drying towels. If you don't like the stuff they'll give you your money back plus 10 points. Trust me, worth the call. Just ask Sixtiesmuscle, Bruce, Richard, etc- I've got them all hooked on the good stuff https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif Colin |

Re: Carwash Products...
Yep your are right about Meguiars in the tan Bottles
When I was at the Atlantic city show this past Feb I talked to the guys at Meguiars and they were the ones that told me the same thing and got me to try Final Inspection You use it as a Detailer The more I use it the more my jeep with the Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat shines They told me that the stuff at pep boys is just not as good and the professional grade is hands down a much better product You just can not get it at the parts store it has to be order at Meguiars I do not under stand why snice it is a great productwhy not sell it at a parts store |

Re: Carwash Products...
Out here in the wild west you can buy the brown bottle Profesional line of Meguiars in the local auto parts stores. I buy 1 gal. at a time of Final Inspection and Vinyl and Rubber cleaner. My wife loves their leather care line for her '02 SS interior as well.

http://www.pinnaclewax.com/souveran.html
Telling a man what wax to use on his car is like telling him which steak sauce to put on his steak.....some of us are pretty hardheaded. Try the Pinnacle cleansing lotion and then the Souveran past wax especially if you have a dark colored car. Also not cheap but ...... |
