Somebody just killed a great vette. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. I like them as original as possible. That is pointless. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif |

Re: Look at this 67 vett
Pointless? Sux? Killed? These are harsh words. How can a highly modified high horsepower motor placed into the engine compartment of the most beautiful American car ever produced be described by words like these? If these cars were always left stock and weren't ever modified by drag racers/road racers, they would have a VERY BORING history. Some seem to forget, "Racing improves the breed!"

Re: Look at this 67 vett
I would guess that some of these "new" pro street mid year vettes are former NHRA Modified Production racers from back in the 80's.........

The blower may be a tad over the top, but who wants everyone's car to look them same? Rod Saboury had a very similar looking '63 over 20 years ago. - - http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...hevy/ss222.jpg - http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...hevy/ss223.jpg - [/ QUOTE ] https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gifyep, there's those stripes again! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |

Re: Look at this 67 vett
If I was lucky enough to have a 63-67 I would not do that. But it is very cool....
