Bob, Do you have the 66 Acadian owned by Bill Wertheim on your list? James [/ QUOTE ] Bill's car is in the registry, James. For those that may not know this car, it's a 1966 L79 Acadian Canso 2 door benchseat hardtop bought new in Victoria B.C. (bill of sale is still with the car). It was modified almost immediately for racing with dealer installed 5.13 rear gears and cutout rear wheel openings. As far as can be determined, it was garaged in 1970 and saw little running time after that. Bill is doing a full resto as original. Haven't talked to Bill for quite awhile. Do you know how it's coming along, James? Bob |
Re: L79 Acadian FS
I haven't heard from Bill in a while either but the car should be close to completion. I saw the white 65 L-79 Beaumont at a show a couple years ago.

[ QUOTE ] I love the "strippers", especially ones from Canada! BA [/ QUOTE ] Wheh! What a relief to know that you will not mind that we are bringing a couple of "strippers" with us to VetteFest in April. They will make nice "conversation pieces" so to speak. Glad I have your approval and you even gave it without me having to ask for it............ https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif [/ QUOTE ] May I request they are of the conversation variety that have full grilles, and no cigarette burns in the interior?. |
