Re: Found a donor car, wifes ready to kill me
Thanks, I pm'd you back.
I'm just glad to be able to assist you in making your neighbors happy, by gradually reducing the size of the donor shell in your driveway. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif If you need anything give me a holler! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: Found a donor car, wifes ready to kill me
5 hours later and the quarters are still on with no signs of wanting to come off. Quarters, that's plural, I'm still on the drivers side, haven't even made it to the passenger one yet. What a PITA!! I've been drilling like crazy. I do still need to heat the lead in the pillar but this is crazy trying to do this. I am about 99.9% sure I will be paying someone to take the ones off dads car and install these.

Lewis, thanks for those brake cable covers. I really appreciate it. I've been looking for that driver's side shield for 4 years now, but any one I found seemed too rusty to use.
Good luck on your project and if you need anything, drop me a line. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif -NJSteve |

It's gradually dissolving away! Nice progress.
Make sure you save those windshield trim pieces. They are anodized alumnum so be careful removing them. They bend easily. |
