Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
Its even got one of those Rare * Yenkos there. I also hear that they are prepping a Little Nova to keep up with a certain Blown Willys. (Big Shoes to fill, but it should be fun trying). I believe that 5.38 gears and some old technology from Gary Dyer has been applied.

Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
from my reading the "lawman" was paraded to army bases to promote safety because so many young army men were buying these musclecars and while on leave wrecking them, hurting and even the loss of many lives. there was a big promotional campaign to drag it at the strip not on the street to risk safety. anyone heaard this story also?

Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
Kevin they had The Lawman featured on the Speed Vision show The American Muscle Car. Cool Story and cool footage of one of them driving in the countryside of Viet Nam. Did they race this car on an aircraft carrier?
BTW Stefano I love the shirt! |
Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
Too many to have to pick just one favorite....
Now I just gotta get Don Johnson to sit in the seat of my 66 just once...and BAM!! Big BUCKS Mike |
Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
One of the funky cars was the '56 vette that was customized in '59 with Lincoln headlights and the Hawk grill. It almost had a paint job that reminded you of a Motion car! I am suprised the Superbird did not go for more that it did. Some good prices on some of the stuff, but I lay odds that 9/10s of the high dollar stuff will be finding a home in a museum! Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
What was the name of the Ford dealership?
|
Re: Favorite B/J Muscle car
The name of that dealer was Bonarrigo Ford, they were located 10 miles east of the race track on RT #22 Blairsville,PA. The owners sold out a couple of years ago.The original building is still there. The son operates a used car store that they own across the highway. Ron
