Beeline was off of Beeline hwy (Hwy 87 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif)near Mesa

Phoenix International Raceway/Dragstip is/was on the opposite end of the valley in Avondale. They run NASCAR at PIR now....I never knew they had a drag strip https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Right you are, Bruce....it was actually about half way between Mesa and Fountain Hills. Of course, in the earlier years of Beeline, Fountain Hills didn't even exist! At any rate, the old timing tower is still standing there.....part of the Red Mountain Trap and Skeet club shooting range now.

My Chevelle is supposed to get loaded on the transporter back in IL this coming week....hopefully it will be at its new home in AZ early the following week. Then you will see us at the Pavillions, too https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

wow! I love those pictures,makes me wish I was still in arizona.I have been there a couple of times while I was in arizona.exactly got to stick my car in a couple of times.sure do miss that place on saturday's!
