Out buying parts a few weeks ago and came across this.....72 LT1 original motor trans and rear. Front buried almost up to the belt line. "Going to restore it"

Wow, clean stripped "bare glass" in the elements is a hidden disaster......
I bet the Frame is "Shot" ...Vette frames outside for years is a haven for ROT. it's a shame, an LT1 Car was probably the best small block Corvette of them all , especially a '70 |

Was on a back road in south central Illinois today and stumbled upon this. No one home but left my card. Not licensed since 1992 and rough but all there. Butternut 67 Z24 SS427.

The interior was also torn up. No idea on the trunk or engine compartment. The hood appeared to be in great shape other than the chrome and that what matters. No call back as of yet but will follow up today. |
