I was 11 years old then and was into dirt bikes, started getting into cars around 74 and remember heading to the grove to watch the action. Super stuff thanks for sharing!!!!!!

------Thanks Mr.70,,,That car has more pics from back in the day than any I can remember. Dont know if you guys remember but when I bought the car from Rick it had 396 emblems on it. I have a picture of it with the emblems. Wonder how many guys he surprised. Can you say "sleeper"?????.........Bill S

I can tell you it wasn't too many....the word got around pretty quickly back on the streets of Aurora, IL. Everyone knew that no SS396 Chevelle ran like that car did without sounding pretty radical. Those 396 emblems were on the car very early in its life.
