ANy updates on where this car went?

Re: 1969 Z 2/8
It's my car now. I bought it from the guy who bought it from the guy who had it on ebay. It's still in Ohio where it has been all it's life. Gonna give it a good detailing have dent wizard take out the 2 dents. Replace the carb with an original dated one, maybe a few other small details and leave it the way it is. They are only original once!

You plan to keep it original makes you the perfect owner for that car...and of course drive it. Congratulations, neat car.

Glad someone on here got it. Seems like a very neet car. Keep us posted and we love pictures. Any history with the car?

Danny this would be a good car to rig up a shower under it and use the safest rust remover product then bio shield when done.

Mike </div></div> I was told the original owners son has the POP. I do not have contact info but he does live in NC. I got a copy of the title showing car transfering from original owner to his son. Definitely going to have to change gears. At 70MPH it is taching 4000 RPM. Not good for a driver. Not only that I think the speedo is off so I probably wasn't going that fast. I'd say at least 4.56....maybe even 4.88's. |

Fun up going through the gears up to 70 mph though I bet! Keep us posted. Mike |
Re: 1969 Z 2/8
Very cool, great purchase. Can you please post your progress here? That is certainly a car worth documenting through pictures. A true reference manual for us willing to learn!
