Maybe someone else can chime in on this. I'm a Canuck and I've been around these cars all my life. I've never seen "Made in Canada" Valve covers hold downs. I would assume they are aftermarket. I maybe corrected by someone on here but that's my opinion and until someone can prove me wrong, their aftermarket.

The fella that owns the car now is the 2nd owner. He told me that he changed very little on the car. He said those hold downs were on there. One thing I have learned is that just when you think you have seen it all with these cars something creeps up to surprise you. But we're they over the counter replacements put on by the original owner, it's possible but I don't know. I know much was not messed with on the car.

Hold downs may or may not be original, but the bolts are not.
