Where's my checkbook?
Note the "427" emblems were installed on the SS hood. |

Just a hint of tire smoke. Note the mid-year sidepipes.

Not a very clear photo. Car was named "Ridge Runner."

Re: More old photos
Great stuff!!!! Keep them coming! Anybody have any info on that plain jane '69 camaro. Seems odd to see a non-SS Camaro get the Motion treatment...unless it was a COPO https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif. Does the article give any hints? Could you post it?
Thanks, Mike https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: More old photos
Great pictures, only downside is that my computer is soon overloaded!

No mention of this specific car in the article. It was in an article in the 1/69 Rodder and Super/Stock called "Building a Mindbender." Here's another angle. Note the "427" emblems on the front fener in the stripe.

Another photo from the "Building a Mindbender" article. Note the stripe over the roof and the Motion decal on the right rear window.

Yeah, I'll bet this car was a COPO that was converted to a Phase III. The article was in the 11/69 Cars and the owner's name was Marc Cohen. Note hood tach and window sticker.
Photo went across the center of the magazine, unfortunately. |

Another from the 9/70 Cars Magazine road test of the '70 Motion Camaro. Note the factory "moon" caps. I dare someone to run these on their '70 Motion Camaro!
