Cool story. My first reaction on the add was "wow- that was cheap..." But looking at medium household incomes from 1976 you can see Eddie dropped an equivalncy of a years income on a car located 3000 miles away - Bold move...one that proved wise to say the least..thanks for the story Eddie. That's neat stuff...

It was a crazy thing to do and Rick your right about that on top of that we had a cashiers check that nobody would cash unless we wanted to wait fifteen days,thanks to a guy my brother did helicopter business with he took the check in to his bank and they cashed it this was on monday after we spent the weekend there,you know how hard a weekend can be when your 18 and they let you drink in bars https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
