Re: UPLOADING TEST PICTURES AGAIN OF MUSCLE CARS
Actually, the three moldings; B80 = 'Roof Drip Moulding', B84 = 'Body Side Moulding' & B90 = 'Door and Window Frame Moulding' could be had individually, in pairs, or all three. The Custom Ext. option got you the rockers and tailpanel, & possibly the side gills.
A vinyl top car only guarantees you the drip rail molding, nothing else. Check your trim tag, bottom row, for a single digit number. That will tell you how many of the 3 moldings your car came with. |
Re: UPLOADING TEST PICTURES AGAIN OF MUSCLE CARS
Man those cars look good! The wheels and tire combo on both look pretty killer to me! Steve, I love that color! Both cars Day-2ed perfectly IMO. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: UPLOADING TEST PICTURES AGAIN OF MUSCLE CARS
Thanks for the info. Marlin.. I am certain my car only came with the drip rail moldings and nothing else. I know pretty much the full history behind the car and have pictures of it dating back to the early 70s from the second owner who bought it in 1972 from the original owner. Luckily I was able to track this fella down and speak with him about the car and its history.. When he bought it it was not "screwed with" and was all there as far as its originality, "Plain Jane" look with dog dish caps & the 14x7 XT steel wheels..
Thanks again fellas for the nice comments and compliments!! Rich |

What's your trim tag data? PS: The number will be in the same position as the '3' on my TT: http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h6...firewall-1.jpg |

Re: UPLOADING TEST PICTURES AGAIN OF MUSCLE CARS
You've got the '1' indicating one ext moulding - with 'B' code for upper paint, it has to be drip rail!!
Another 731 car, tough interior to restore https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif What's the small rubbery plug in the wire harness right behind the booster tang? |
Re: UPLOADING TEST PICTURES AGAIN OF MUSCLE CARS
Marlin, the rubbery plug behind the booster tang is my fusible link for the underhood light. I have it wired so I can remove the fuse which lies in that boot and makes the link/connection. This is obviously so the underhood light does not come on every time I open the hood and kill my battery... I kind of have it "stashed" behind the power booster to conceal it somewhat.. It is cool when you are at a summer nite show and you plug in the underhood light and it reflects on the chrome of the valve covers and air cleaner!! The underhood light was an option I added to the car as well as the windshield washer monitor light... All part of the aux. lighting package which is neat!!
