It's got to be the epinephrine/adrenalin -- sometimes coming down from a high (like racing. etc.) will cause the brain to go into overdrive ...

First she IS a women. second she is excited. third like JF she has to promote NHRA and the Sponsors. Fourth she is a real good driver! She also maybe the one person that could save Pro Stock drag racing. |

Listen to her talk some time...she doesn't do the "UM or so ah" all the time like some drivers. She's smart and talented.
Yes...she talks up her sponcers/God and ALL that help her get to where she is today. Any racer remembers what it's like to be hungry and fighting for money so let it out every time they get on film. I see her at the track and she is the nicest person and signs millions of autograph just like most racers do as the appreciate the fans being there. Pro stock is a declining sport and they need all the help they can get. You can hate her {She like hatters!} or love her but she is doing well for a first year new team. Ever try to get an autograph from Warren Johnson? Good luck!! Lets hear who every one likes...Pro stock...Top Fuel...Funny car or Pro stock bike. Absolutely -- I thought the Grump was going to start throwing wrenches at folks at one race. On the other hand, Bill Helscher (sorry for the spelling) got down and pointed things out as to how to make the suspension work better on my 70 Z-28.

I knew I would ruffle some feathers. It started for me years ago when she got in a staging dual with someone and then proceeded to run her mouth. So I do not have time for her. I like Force but fast forward is great for when they stick a microphone in front of him. I acknowledge she is a good driver, no doubt. The teams record speaks for itself. She will not save Pro Stock. It has become for the rich to play. And Nascar ruined itself years ago with to many rules and calling it a Family sport. It came out of running moonshine. To much political correctness.

Erica has been great with the fans at Maple Grove, always talks to my kids and asks them how their season is going....

And to think she missed a few races during the season. Her previous team must have really messed her up because she has repeatedly referred to how they didn't have her back or provide the support she needed.

That final for all the Marbles was probably the best Pro Stock Final I ever witnessed.... Her run through Eliminations was probally the Single Most consistent ever in a Pro Class event....can anyone confirm the stats ? What a way to Win ! Damn |

Though she won't admit it, some of the teams success and her personal success with improved RT's are a result of Dave Connolly being her CC last year. Look at what Dave has done for Gray Motorsports.

I've only been watching and participating in drag racing for a short period of time (since the early 60's) and have never scene both racers click off .000 at the same time. AWESOME!! |

Curious to learn/read about ELITE's eng program vs Cagnazzi vs ???
WHO is the ELITE eng GURU ?? What does Nick Fieri (sp?) do ?? Are they all using the same CFE heads ?? Does anybody in Pro Stock use SLAWKO heads as does Bob Book in Comp engines ?? How is it that the racing can be so close in ET but yet ELITE had 1 MPH edge at Pomona. |

1 MP equals more HP Chuck. Elite could have 8-10 more HP then the rest. maybe the clutch set-up?

Engine Guru's at Elite Motorsports is Nick Ferri & Jake Hairston and yes...they are using CFE on their 500 CI GM
Horse power is 1400+ at 10,000 red line. Rick and Ricky Jones of RJC have the chassis set up well to gain that ONE MPH difference. Erica holds the World Speed record at 215.55 and the World ET record ant 6.464 so they have Big Red running and set-up well. Oh.. and Erica can drive that beast!
