I found this in Westerly, RI today on the way home. The writing indicates it had belonged to Card Chevrolet, I think they are still in the Eastern Part of Conn. I can not tell if the paint is a faded Red or Hugger Orange, possibly indicating it was used in the late 60's or early 70's. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h1...k/85a73e91.jpg [/ QUOTE ] Card Chevrolet Inc 106 W Broad St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379-1830 Phone: (860) 599- 5741 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gifthe phone is still the same as on the truck!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif |

hey its worth the hassle to get the hood chrome and especially the fender & eyebrow chrome if its not creamed on that white '67 4dr Caprice, when I had mine a few years ago the pass eyebrow went for $150/200 or more if it was decent... perfect = $$$ probably more today, almost chicken lips in the big car world for the pass side, I still think there not made repo yet. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS

It would be a good idea to save those double hump 327 heads from the crusher. Maybe the whole engine, depending on the suffix code. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
I just got done looking at ALL 126 pages! Thanks guys! (I think, because now I'm kinda depressed)
Anyways, here is one of my all time tear jerkers. A 1967 RS/SS 4spd 375HP 396 Convertible! All original numbers matching ROTTING in this backyard outside of Detroit for years. I spent years begging the owner to sell me the car as I watched it rot farther and farther into the ground. At first he was a first class prick about it, but then he got pretty nice as he saw me year after year and I was being polite each time and showing genuine interest in the car. On this day he actually showed me the car. That's me in the red shirt. Could not get the hood open without stressing the hood so no underhood shots, sorry. Last time I was in touch with the guy he was moving to a city south of detroit, Riverdale? Romulus? or someother "R" named city. Does anyone know the car?? Did it survive?? http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Picture246.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Picture245.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Picture243.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Picture242.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...Picture244.jpg |
