Re: 69 Z28, Champagne Gold
Almost all his claims are baseless *and* incorrect.
It's a just a Z in a unique color. I've only seen the color on a full-size and it's more of a light gold than the samples show. He was asking $65K in 2012. NOR 323624 |
Re: 69 Z28, Champagne Gold
the color is pretty unique in the sun, I liked it, somewhere around here is a old pic of that '69 granny nova I had in this color.

Re: 69 Z28, Champagne Gold
Did this top on my Malibu, came out very close to the large color sample in my 69 dealer album, never saw a 69 Camaro this color in person.

That fake VV Cooke Copo in Western Canada a few years back was Champagne wasn;t it? Not it, here's a Champagne black hat car off the net below. ~ Pete https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...blackvinyl.jpg |

Re: 69 Z28, Champagne Gold
We had a 69 champagne Camaro with a 350/M-20 4 spd and a black vinyl top in our area until about 1985. We also had a 69 SS396 chevelle that was champagne with a brown vinyl top and a green interior. I just saw the chevelle yesterday at a winter storage facility and it has been painted FG and the vinyl top removed.

Re: 69 Z28, Champagne Gold
Not a Z pic but if I look through a friends album I'll post a Pic or so of a L78 in Champagne. He had it around 87-88 Aluminum headed 427,Hydro-vac booster & rear Discs. The color is nice when fresh but he painted it Porsche Red. Was sold at Dutch Wonderland around 89-90 for $25k , stayed in a private collection for years then a number of years ago it was brought to The Super Car Workshop for a Restoration back to code 63.....I assume the Car is done by now...You can contact Brian or Joe, I'm sure they have nice pics of it in Red & Champ.
