Yes Chuck, the car was checked out thoroughly, and the buyer (who by the way...was one of the eBay bidders) is a very educated collector of low mileage and original owner cars. I have personally seen the extensive paperwork on this car, and must comment that it presents itself with true authenticity.

It's worth noting that the new owner agrees the front end should not have been detailed as it is, and the little things that are obvious as needing attention will be soon be corrected and or cared for. Once completed, this car will join the ranks of some other prestigious pieces in a growing private collection.

Other collection notables in this buyers stable include;

1967 L71 Corvette - 6K Original Mile Bloomington Hall of Fame Car
1966 L72 Corvette - 39K Original Mile Documented Survivor
1967 Z28 Camaro - Registry Car Rotisserie Restored
1968 HEMI Charger - Mopar Nationals Overall Winner

Further cars not shown in the collection include low mileage 69 Z28's, Corvettes, a recently found 68 Yenko Barn Car, and other deals being pursued on both a low mile ZL1, and a very rare E Body Cuda.

In closing, I have known this collector for some time, and after 30 years of tickling his fancies, he is still on a roll! Any leads on true low mile survivor cars anyone?

Best regards....Tom

2 bidders fighting all the way up. Doubt they are real bids. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

That's why I hate eBay and wouldn't buy bubble gum from them.

Yes the much scrutinized eBay has a lot wrong with it, and I only posted this to show that the bids were in fact real, and that the car did sell for solid money to an educated buyer.

BTW, whats the matter with buying Double Bubble from eBay? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif
