If you have room on the inside of the exhaust manifold and the engine......We can angle mill the exhaust manifold to sweep it in towards the engine to give the 02 sensor room......let me know......

It is pretty tight in there as well. I am going to look at some block hugger headers as well. That flange is HUGE

I would suggest you buy the repro 3/8th fuel line kit. It will run under the A-arm and get it away from the manifold. It also runs through the driveshaft tunnel rather than alongsifdde the frame (next to the RH exhaust). Otherwies you can expect vapor lock problems.

Re: 1959 Bel Air Winter Project

This weekend, I got busy doing some of the things that will not meet the eye. Thus, not much for pictures. I removed the fuel tank and line. Straightened out some issues with the motor / transmission mounts, and took care of some little things. One of the items I did fool around with was cleaning the underbody. Man, I wish I could find a Corvette with this kind of originality. While my cleaning is far from complete, check out what I found!

Nice "Beater"..........But.........It would be better if you took that Lawnmower LS engine out and plugged in a "Real" engine (LS 9)..............

That is a very clean car, i look for cars like that. Very few cars ever this clean and original. I would wipe down with boeshield to preserve the patina. Roger
