That probably means the carb had the snake tongue looking squirter that puts an accelerator pump fuel shot in both the front and rear barrels at the same time. When you did that, it was common to put gear type linkage on the passenger side of the carb throttle shafts to make the front and rear open at the same time.

So looking at Google Map satellite view, at the location of Baldwin Chevy, at Merrick &amp; Central, obviously it's long gone.
Can anyone tell me what corner it WAS on? The likely corners now have a 7/11 and a CVS.
Also when it was closed/torn down? Sad to see legendary locations torn down.
Any existing pics of it would be really sweet to see.

Thx to Darren &amp; Charley for the close up &amp; document pics which I'd never seen. I'm guessing it's been restored &amp; not a survivor, but either way it's the Supercar Holy Grail for me

Baldwin Auto Company was on the southwest corner. There is a CVS there now. Lion Chev was operating there until the late 80's
