Re: Rocket mags from '70's
Schonye, I think that was why I tossed my rusty ones out. I saw them advertised somewhere cheaper than rechroming would be. I am not sure but I think it may have been through speedway motors. It was some catalog that I got in the mail.

Back in the day, everyone seemed to run chrome reverse. Now you never see them. I thought they looked pretty cool. [/ QUOTE ] That's what was on my '68 Chevelle when I traded it for the '70. Put the dog dishes on it and let it go. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif |
Re: Rocket mags from '70's
When we were kids, (1971) a buddy of mine had a set of chrome rims on his '69 Z. It was silver, black stripes. Best I remember though they were slick without the risers in them for hubcaps, and he had a set of the Crager inserts in them, that were about the size of a set of baby moon hubcaps, and stuck out in the center and said Crager on them. They were held on by the lugnuts. I have a set of the NOS centers, but haven't found the wheels.
