Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Technically not a muscle car, but hard to believe this former beauty got this bad.
Power steering & brakes & windows and seats!!!! Air conditioning http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Other-SO...=US_Cars_Trucks |

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
These people are on some serious drugs.
The ad says this- "Green with green interior. Some rust. They make all reproduction parts to fix this car. When fully restored, this car could be worth up to $12,000. " Jeff Spiccolli couldn't even fix this with his Dads TV repair tools. |
Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
I hope the shovel comes with it to clean up what's left.

It's a newer muscle car, but this Buick has been sitting in the same spot for approximately 20 years.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Never posted here before but been lurking for a while. I thought this might be appreciated in this thread. Did not want to steal the pics so I'll just link..

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Dang, that T-Type looks horrible. I was always a big fan of those, even more than the GN.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Found these a few months ago. Haven't been back to inquire

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Nasblu... is that yard somewhere in south central PA? I think I was in there maybe 3 years ago.
|
Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
The pictures are actually of 3 different jyards in PA. The one yard to which 80% of these pictures are from the guy died and his family had a car crusher come in and crush them all on site and hauled away. There where well over 100 cars mostly GM. I bought some parts off the 61 impala bubbletop. I was going to go back to buy others parts when I drove by and I was shocked to find it was all gone!! What a shame... The 1955 olds 98 convertible the guy bought brand new in 55, what a shame it still had the original rocket 324 in it at the time I saw it
|
Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
If the '61 was the one with the grab bar, did you happen to record the cowl tag info?
Verne |
Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
I got the grab bar, steering wheel, glass, cowl tag and a bunch of stainless etc.. It's not a factory SS it was a 283 power glide it was (built late 1960) too early be SS anyway. Must have been a dealer or owner retro fit early in its life. The Arbor green 1961 in the pics was an original 348 tripower 4spd car.

Here's a couple cool shots of a rotting '68 Firebird 400, car for sale @ included link. Appears a little rougher than seller description, especially if pics are from 1984? Wow...that's pretty rotted!

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Looks like a NE Ohio car, I can remember seeing all these POS on the road way back when. Reminds me of my school janitors Buick 225....rust rust and more rust, draggin a$$ with ice & snow packed in the holes this time of year. I can almost smell how rich that 455 ran in this cold...Yikes, that was 40years ago!

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS '69 Corvette 427-435
69 Corvette, 427-435 , M22 , Orange ....unobtainable, leins, drug convictions, garage leins etc....20+ years of outdoor neglect and there's another one too, a 67 coupe 427-435 as well in the same situation..... what a waste.

Looks like an Ontario Canada car though, snow tires and lots o' bondo in the 1/4's was always good for traction also why Mustangs were popular winter bombs around these parts back in the day. Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
That '69 435/427 is enough to bring a tear to your eye.
Tom... Is that somewhere around the 'burgh? |
