The original block could be in a local town... we are currently looking for it and are generating leads.
We have fouund out through someone who knows the car that the crank pistons rods were all put into the 0010 that is currently in the car.
The clutch exploded at some point and ripped a hole, punched another hole in the floorboard not to mention the dents in the trans tunnel... could have torn up the back of the block???
I am sure that not too long after is when the scattershield was installed.

The interior... all factory original parts... carpet seat covers, seat belts, no reproduction parts here.

Some more cleaning... the floor pans and gas tank were covered with carbon/soot from open headers and a rich mixture. Used easy off oven cleaner...

The 80 in the right upper corner. It was on the top of the heater box as well. Is it a sequence number or line number?

Re: What is this 69 Original Paint Z28 Worth

Cleaned everything with enamel reducer. Then coated with spray cosmoline from Rick's. Did the same with all the suspension as well.
The only thing left to clean is the floor board section from the firewall to the Rear axle. (the first layer of sirt is gone but needs to be brushed with some degreaser)
Here is another pic of the engine compartment, put the 2605 that was on the pass inner fender and the BLACK on the firewall.
Still want to find a few more good original parts vs. the repro stuff.

Re: What is this 69 Original Paint Z28 Worth

Exactly... Rick's sent 2 by accident and I have poured all kinds of chemicals in the second one trying to get it to yellow up some. (If anyone has an old bottle, I will gladly trade a brand new GM one for it)
I also found some used tower clamps and I am going to remove the new intake bolts for the originals that I cleaned. Found an older 515 voltage reg to install.
Few more things but overall it is coming together pretty well.
